A stoppage time goal from Doan Ngoc Tan of Vietnam forced a 1-1 draw against the Philippines in the ASEAN Mitsubishi Electric Cup Wednesday evening.

Doan scored a header in the seventh minute of added time as the Vietnamese denied the Filipinos a win in this tournament.

Jarvey Gayoso scored the opening goal of the match after a tap-in shot in the 68th minute.

The Filipinos sank to fourth place in Group B after getting its third draw in as many games.

The Nationals now need to win against Indonesia on Saturday at the Manahan Stadium in Surakartra.
