The 2.4-kilometer Maslog-Jipapad Road and the 22-meter Panic-an Bridge are designed to connect remote barangays to economic opportunities and public services, fostering peace, resilience, and sustainable development in former conflict-affected areas.

Lt. Gen. Reyeg lauded the collaborative efforts that led to the realization of these projects, adding:

"These projects are symbols of our collective journey toward a peaceful and prosperous future. Our collaboration is a testament to what we can achieve when we work together toward common goals."

He concluded by reaffirming VISCOM's commitment to supporting the projects:

"As your partner for peace and progress, VISCOM will continue to safeguard these initiatives and the communities we serve. Together, we can create a Visayas where development and harmony thrive hand in hand."

Established in 2011, the PAMANA program remains central to the government’s peace efforts, benefiting areas in the Visayas, such as Negros Island and Iloilo, through infrastructure, policy reforms, and socio-economic projects.
