After a two-day sold-out “Maki-Concert,” the singer Maki has released another vibrant single called “Bughaw.”
“Itong kanta na ‘to gusto ko maging anthem siya ng magto-tropa. Sabay natin habulin ang dulo ng bughaw,” the Tarsier Records artist said.
Stressing the part about friends turning misery into positivity, he added, “The sadness na naghihintay sa atin (that’s waiting for us), let’s turn it into blue, like blue sea, or blue sky. Kahit tumanda tayo, magkakalayo na tayo (Even when we grow old or grow apart), look at the sky, it’s just the same. Kung iiyak ka, iiyak din ako (When you cry, I will cry, too).”
Maki performed “Bughaw” at the “Maki-Concert” held at New Frontier Theater last 29 and 30 November.
The songollows Maki’s other color-themed singles “Dilaw” and “Namumula.”
The breakthrough Kapamilya artist is set to bring “Maki-Concert” next year to Waterfront Hotel and Casino Cebu on 11 January and the University of Baguio on 24 January. The regional tour will also make a stop at Cagayan de Oro.
