Aspiring Corrections Officers of Class 2024-02 “DASIG-TIKAS” are undergoing intense training at the Corrections National Training Institute Parade Ground.
The class name, an acronym for “Disiplinadong Aksyon na may Sinsiridad at Integridad Gabay sa Tungkulin ng Institusyong Koreksyon at Alay sa Sambayanan para sa Bagong Pilipinas,” signifies their commitment to discipline, sincerity and integrity in their future roles.
The trainees have already demonstrated their dedication by contributing to the New Bilibid Prison’s reform efforts, leading to the confiscation of contraband items.
The Bureau of Corrections is confident that these future officers will embody empathy and integrity, ultimately contributing to a safer and more disciplined corrections system in the Philippines.
