As the flag carrier prepares to serve more passengers during the busy holiday season, Philippine Airlines (PAL) will add more flights to major domestic and international destinations, offering consumers more flexibility and choice.

"In addition to planning new connections for 2025, we are expanding our flight network by adding new routes and increasing frequencies on existing ones as the Christmas and New Year holidays approach. Our goal is to help people reconnect with their loved ones, and we are committed to expanding our services to meet customer demand and make holiday travel as convenient as possible," said PAL President and Chief Operating Officer Capt. Stanley K. Ng.

On 3 December, PAL launched a three-weekly service between Clark and Siargao, and on 22 December, it resumed the much-anticipated Cebu-Osaka Kansai route. PAL's expanding hubs will also offer flights to Korea during the season. Incheon flights from Cebu to Seoul will run from 21 December 21 to 4 March, and flights between Clark and Seoul, as well as Kalibo, will run from 2 January to 4 March.

The airline is also expanding its network of direct flights from Australia and the United States, adding a weekly trip from Melbourne until 12 January, alongside a recently launched service from Seattle and increased daily services from Brisbane.

To accommodate the increased demand for holiday travel from 15 December to 12 January, PAL will operate 74 additional round-trip domestic flights between Manila and Davao, Bacolod, Cagayan, Iloilo, Tacloban, Busuanga (Coron), Caticlan (Boracay), and Legazpi (Daraga), as well as between Cebu and Caticlan, Bacolod, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Legazpi, Siargao, Puerto Princesa, Tacloban, and Busuanga.

PAL is also deploying more wide-body aircraft on popular regional routes like Manila-Singapore, Manila-Bangkok, and Manila-Tokyo Narita.

In recent months, PAL has increased the frequency of regular flights between Manila and Hanoi, Cotabato, General Santos, Cebu, Davao, and Tagbilaran, followed by further ramp-ups during the peak season.

In addition to expanding its domestic network, PAL will launch a new daily Manila-Cauayan route on 15 January, offering people in Northern Luzon a quicker alternative to the 10-hour land trip between Manila and Cauayan.
