Newport, PAGCOR donate mobile lab to Malabon

Newport World Resorts turns over a brand new Mobile Laboratory to the City Government of Malabon, part of the LAB for ALL program spearheaded by the Office of the First Lady.
Newport World Resorts, in partnership with the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), has donated a fully equipped mobile laboratory to Malabon City under the “LAB for ALL” program. Initiated by the Office of the First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, the program aims to provide healthcare services to underserved communities.
The turnover and blessing ceremony took place on 25 November, 2024, at Malabon City Hall, with city officials, Newport World Resorts representatives, and stakeholders in attendance. Malabon City Mayor Jeannie Sandoval, Ospital ng Malabon Chief Physician Jennifer Amolo Lim, and City Administrator Alexander Rosete accepted the donation on behalf of the city.
During the ceremony, Newport World Resorts President and CEO Nilo Thaddeus Rodriguez shared, “We believe that our success is not only defined by the experiences we create for our guests, but also by the positive impact we have on society. That is why we continue to strive to deliver compassionate service not only to our guests but to the entire community.”
The mobile laboratory includes facilities such as an x-ray room, a laboratory for basic tests, an examination room, a portable ultrasound machine, and an ECG machine. The unit is designed to deliver healthcare directly to communities in need, enhancing access to essential medical services.
This marks Newport World Resorts’ second mobile laboratory donation, following an earlier contribution to Caloocan City in July. The collaboration between Newport World Resorts Foundation Inc. and PAGCOR reflects a shared commitment to supporting government healthcare initiatives and improving the lives of underserved Filipinos.
