Singson reaffirms support for Philippine Army at Camp Riego de Dios

Senatorial candidate Luis “Manong Chavit” Singson underscored his commitment to national defense during the RRU Mustering for the 4th Quarter CY 2024 at Camp Riego de Dios. The event included the ribbon-cutting and blessing of High-Velocity Deployment (HVD) transport services, PAARU facilities, and the Laang Kawal Integrated Farm, attended by Philippine Army officials, reservists, and local supporters.
Major Aloseda, Director of the 402nd Ready Reserve Unit, lauded Singson’s consistent support for the Armed Forces. "Chavit understands the AFP and the Army very well as a former chief of police he is. His insight and dedication are unmatched," Aloseda said.
Singson highlighted the importance of empowering the reservist force and pledged to enhance military capabilities.
"Supporting the reservists ensures that more people are enticed to join and serve the country," He said. He also pledged to provide cutting-edge military equipment, leveraging his international businesses as a defense contractor. "I will continue to provide the best militaryware to strengthen our defense capabilities," he assured.
The event also showcased initiatives like the Laang Kawal Integrated Farm, promoting sustainable agriculture alongside national security.
By focusing on strengthening the military and grassroots empowerment, Singson reinforced his campaign’s emphasis on a self-reliant and secure Philippines.
