Katrina Ponce Enrile said Friday that repairs on the San Jose Bridge in Cagayan will begin on Friday after being damaged by typhoon Ofel.
In a Facebook post, the Cagayan Economic Zone Authority chief executive said that she coordinated with the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and received confirmation that work would begin immediately.
"For the information of all my kababayans. I immediately messaged Secretary Bonoan regarding the situation in San Jose and he immediately responded, so after coordinating with the district engineer of DPWH, they promised me that the bridge in San Jose will be repaired starting this morning. Let’s keep on praying and helping one another," her post reads.
