Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna yesterday sought the help of city government employes in continuing, if not surpassing, the kind of services they have given to the residents of Manila last year.

Speaking at this year's first flag-raising ceremony, Lacuna thanked all the city officials and employees for the support, cooperation and love they have given in the name of public service, especially for Manilans.

In asking for continued dedicated public service, the lady mayor stressed that those who go to City Hall for help usually have no one to turn to apart from their family.

The mayor also called for love and understanding not only within the homes but also in city government offices.

This kind of working environment, according to her, will not only promote continued progress but also make Manila worth its status as the one constantly being looked up to, being the country's capital city.

In her message to all Manileños, Lacuna called for one and all to leave 2023 with a heartfelt gratitude for all the blessings they were able to receive.
