Turtle Islands Mayor Hadji Faizal Jamalul on Tuesday revealed that the Malaysian Police of Sabah informed him that the four escaped from jail and sailed to Turtle Islands on 30 December 2023.
"They informed me that four of their fugitives from Kota, Kinabalu, Sabah allegedly traveled through Sandakan, Sabah and rented a speedboat to travel to Turtle Islands, Tawi-Tawi," Jamalul said.
