Three young boys smoking weed in an alley in Port Area Manila were arrested by patrolling police on motorcycles who chance on them enjoying a "good trip" on Christmas day.

Police identified the three as Carl Lawrence Samson y Catindig @Cacarl, male, 18 years old, ALS student, and a resident of 12th Street, Barangay 650, Port Area, Manila; Michael Angelo Ongco y Lulong @Dudong, male, 19 years old, single, helper and a resident of 12th Street, Barangay 650, Port Area, Manila; and John Michael Narra y Asis @John-John, male, 18 years old, single, student and a resident of 12th Street, Barangay 650, Port Area, Manila.

Police arrested them along 12th Street, Barangay 650, Port Area, Manila on Christmas Eve at around 9:30 p.m.

Report said that while the police were conducting a routinary night patrol called "Police Visibility Patrol Operation" led by Port Area PCP Abdurahman I Abdula when they smelled the aroma of weeds coming from a vacant lot that they checked and caught the three doing marijuana session and made an arrest.

Confiscated from the three suspects were three pieces of open transparent plastic sachets containing dried green leaves, stems and fruiting tops substance suspected to be "marijuana" with an estimated weight of 6 grams and with DDB value of P720.

The suspects were detained at the MPD PS 13 Baseco Police station were they will be charged for Violation of Section 11, Article II of RA 9165 at the Manila City Prosecutors Office.
