In the world of ultra-high-end luxury vehicles, one name stands out: Bentley. Since 1919, the prestigious British brand has been known for selling luxurious vehicles with workmanship that is a cut above the rest. Here in the Philippines, it should not come as a surprise that Bentley already celebrated its 10th year, proving its popularity among a number of ultrahigh net-worth individuals who appreciate exclusivity and personalization.

"Our 10th anniversary coincides with Bentley Motors' leadership in the transition to sustainable luxury mobility. As Bentley redefines luxury, we are taking this path along with them," said Benedicto Coyiuto during the anniversary program.

Bentley Manila officially opened its doors on 8 May 2013, becoming Bentley Motors' 153rd dealership worldwide.

A decade later, Bentley Manila — together with the PGA Cars group to which it belongs — celebrated the milestone with owners and Bentley enthusiasts at PGA Cars Studio. The place is a luxurious space in the heart of Metro Manila that is akin to a lifestyle center with a lounge, auto display and offers fine dining via Antonio's, one of the country's best restaurants.

Leading the anniversary celebration was Bentley Manila president Benedicto Coyiuto, joined by PGA Car Founder and principal Robert Coyiuto Jr., PGA Cars chairman Roberto Coyiuto III, PGA Cars director Prudencio Coyiuto, and Bentley Manila managing director Christopher Chan.

Bentley Motors' top officials Sam Bontoft, Jack Clarke, Darren Pluckwell, Jenny Makin and Aktar Yacob also attended the company's significant event.

'Dream factory'

Bentley Manila's 10th anniversary comes at a significant time in the history of Bentley Motors. As the company recently announced strong sales results, Bentley Motors has been transforming its facilities into a "dream factory," having been among the first in the automotive industry to be certified carbon neutral.

This development is in line with the brand's evolution into a globally recognized leader in sustainable luxury.

In the Philippines, among Bentley Manila's highlights this year were the introduction of the Bentley Flying Spur Plug-in Hybrid and the Bentayga Extended Wheelbase Azure. The Flying Spur Plug-in Hybrid debuted in the Philippines as part of Bentley Motors' goal to offer a hybrid option across its entire model range.

The Bentayga Extended EWB showcases the range of the Azure's features designed to enhance the wellbeing and comfort of the vehicle's occupants.

This year, Bentley Manila also attended exclusive events held at the British Ambassador's Residence in the Philippines, strengthening ties with embassy officials and showing the company's commitment to nurture relationships with the United Kingdom. In fact, Ambassador Laure Beaufils visited the PGA Cars Studio and met with Bentley Manila's top management.

A decade of extraordinary journeys

The addition of Bentley to PGA Cars' brand partners, namely Porsche, Audi and Lamborghini, allowed PGA Cars to further its leadership in the country's luxury sector.

Unveiled during the inauguration program in 2013 were the Bentley Mulsanne, Continental GT, Continental GT Speed, and the Continental GTC. The arrival of Bentley in the country addressed the growing demand for ultra-luxurious cars that are imported, retailed and supported by an official and exclusive partner.

Inspiring confidence among discerning consumers, this guaranteed the best ownership journey, starting from the showroom to factory-certified aftersales services.

Other milestones in Bentley Manila's 10-year journey include Bentley Manila's first collaboration with the prestigious Enrique Zobel Memorial Polo Cup, participation in Bentley's global retailer conferences, and launching new models that furthered Bentley's success — the Bentayga SUV, third-generation Continental GT, and new Flying Spur.

When Bentley Motors celebrated its centenary in 2019, Bentley Manila marked the occasion with the opening of a new world-class showroom in Bonifacio Global City. It is designed according to Bentley's corporate identity guidelines, and features a car personalization area, handcrafted items from the Bentley Collection, and a fully equipped bar.
