This year's edition of Daily Tribune's popular annual holiday fair "Tindahan ni Tarsee," opened on Friday, 8 December at Ayala Malls by the Bay and ran until Sunday, 10 December.
The three-day bazaar, designed to provide a leg up to micro, small and medium businesses, hosted 73 merchants who were offered free space to showcase novel products perfect for Christmas gifts, from clothes and footwear to artwork, native crafts, artisanal candles and home accents, holiday ornaments, delicacies and pastries, and many more.
Nowella, who manned the stall of the group Bituin Kababaihan Manila, said they were happy to be given the chance to present their products to the public.
"Masaya na naipapakita namin ang produkto namin at nakakatulong sa kababayan," she said.
Weng of the Cactus and Canvass booth likewise said, "Happy kami na na-promote namin ang products namin made from acacia tree" (We're happy that we're able to promote our products made from acacia tree).

Edwin Olivarez of the 1st District of Parañaque.
Along with the booths of the participating small businesses, the fair also featured insightful talks by Royeca, Bastillo, Santiago, Garcia and Frederick Imson, market specialist of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office, as an extension of Daily Tribune's Asian Innovation Forum likewise aimed at boosting MSMEs.
