First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos, joined by various government officials including Department of Social Welfare and Development Asst. Secretary for Regional Operations Paul Ledesma, leads the provision of government assistance, under her LAB for ALL (Laboratory, Konsulta, at Gamot Para sa Lahat) Project, to the residents of Puerto Princesa City at the PGP Convention Center, Palawan provincial capitol on Tuesday, 5 December.
As one of the participating agencies of the LAB for ALL caravan, the DSWD, through its Field Office-MIMAROPA, distributes family food packs and financial assistance worth more than P6.2 million to 1,500 beneficiaries during the event.
Aside from Asst. Sec. Ledesma, also joining the caravan are Commission on Higher Education Chairperson Prospero De Vera, Public Attorneys Office Chief Persida Acosta, actress Isabelle Daza, and DSWD-MIMAROPA Asst. Regional Director for Operations Sheila S. Tapia, among others.
