

The Philippine Army commemorated Andres Bonifacio Day on Thursday through a flag-raising ceremony and wreath-laying activity at the Headquarters Philippine Army in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.
Army Commanding General, Lt. Gen. Roy M. Galido, paid tribute to the Bonifacio as he made a compelling call to action, urging troops and civilian human resources to embody heroism in their every endeavor.
Galido emphasized the importance of mutual understanding and a unified commitment to contribute to the nation's welfare and promote peace within the country's borders.
In honoring Bonifacio's contribution to the country, he conveyed the Army's reaffirmation of its dedication to the ideals of heroism and national service.
"The organization remains steadfast in fostering unity and a sense of purpose among its personnel, reinforcing the commitment to serve the country and strive for the prosperity and tranquillity of our nation," he said.
