The 42-kilometer fun run will be joined by 9,600 participants.

The local government of Manila will temporarily close some of its main roads to make way for the ASICS Rock 'n' Roll Manila Marathon this coming weekend. Road closures will begin at 11 p.m. on Saturday, 25 November, and will last until 8:00 AM on Sunday, November 26.
The following roads will be affected by the closures: Bonifacio Drive (from Anda Circle to Katigbak Drive); Katigbak Drive and South Drive; Independence Road; P. Burgos Avenue (from Roxas Boulevard to Jones, McArthur, and Quezon Bridges); Ma. Orosa St. (from P. Burgos up to Kalaw); Finance Road (from P. Burgos Ave to Taft avenue); the northbound lane of Taft Ave from Ayala Boulevard up to P. Burgos Avenue (only two lanes)
Muralla St. (from Sta. Lucia St., to Real St.);
Real St. (from Muralla up to Sta. Lucia St.)
Sta. Lucia St., (From Real St. to Muralla); and
Quintin Paredes St. (from Jones Bridge up to Ongpin St.).
From 10 p.m., the stretch of Roxas Boulevard from Katigbak Drive to President Quirino Avenue will also be closed. Motorists are advised to find alternative routes to their destinations.
