Singapore-based gaming platform Aura will be offering Filipino gamers a chance to win portions of the total prize pool worth P1.1 million at the Web 3 Games Summit by the Yield Guild Games or YGG in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

Competitions for the multiple digital games will run until 25 November at the SMX Convention Center in SM Aura, Uniquecorn Strateties, YGG's public relations arm told the Daily Tribune in an email.

The games include Aura's Zed Run which uses the Wager platform, allowing game developers to create their own games based on Web 3 technologies.

Digital tokens

These consist of NFTs or digital tokens, blockchain and cryptocurrencies or digital money.

Like other commodities, digital assets such as NFTs and cryptocurrencies gain their monetary value based on their demand or their rarity. Blockchain, a digital database, facilitates their trade transactions.
