Sting ops yield P170K shabu

Operatives from the Taguig City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit apprehended a drug suspect during an anti-illegal drug operation in Taguig City.

Police identified the suspect as alias Jane, who was nabbed by authorities at Barangay Upper Bicutan.

Seized from the suspect were nine heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu weighing approximately 25 grams and street value of P170,000.

The Law enforcement team also confiscated P500 and P1000 boodle money used as buy-bust money, a black pouch and a Redmi cellular phone.

The suspect is currently detained at the Station Custodial Facility of Taguig City Police Station and will be charged for Violation of Section 5 & 11 Article II of RA 9165.
