SINGAPORE — For the sixth year, Union Bank of the Philippines joined the Singapore Fintech Festival with an imposing two-level exhibit just like last year.
SFF 2023 opened on Wednesday promising to eclipse last year's lineup of 850 speakers and 250 hours of content.
Scheduled to speak were Ana Maria Aboitiz Delgado, chief customer experience and digital channel officer of Union Bank; and Union Digital Bank president and CEO Henry Rhoel Aguda.
Technologies developed by Union Bank for blockchain, data analytics, and artificial intelligence are showcased once again at the UB booth's patent wall.
The festival will run until Friday.
Since 2016, the Singapore Fintech Festival has served as a "global nexus where policy, finance, and technology communities converge."
As President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. stressed in his keynote speech via hologram, SFF 2023 serves as a platform to explore the intersections of financial solutions, evolving regulatory landscapes, and the latest technological innovation.
With the threat of Internet "mal-players" ever-present, this year's SFF gathered together the global fintech community, including startups, investors, and regulators.
