SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union — La Union Governor Raphaella Ortega-David is urging the youth to take a stand in fighting disinformation and fake news by sharing only verified information online.

David, during a talk before some 400 high school students at the provincial convention center on Monday, said that they are actually contributing to helping province mates in decision making.

David also urged the participants to take data-gathering seriously and to always countercheck before sharing on social media.
