The local government of Palimbang town in Sultan Kudarat has swiftly implemented the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program to four former members of the New People's Army who surrendered to the security forces in Central and South-Central Mindanao.
Armed Forces of the Philippines-Western Mindanao Command chief Lt. Gen. William Gonzales on Tuesday revealed that a ceremony was held at the 603rd Brigade Headquarters in Barangay Milbuk, Palimbang, Sultan Kudarat where the Palimbang LGU extended support to the four former NPAs.
During the ceremony, Brig Gen Michael A Santos, commander of the 603rd Brigade, presented the four NPAs to Gonzales and Maj. Gen. Alex S Rillera, commander of the 6th Infantry Division and Joint Task Force Central.

Gonzales identified one of the four former NPAs as alias Agpol, who served as a medic of Sub-Regional Command-Daguma of Far South Mindanao Region while the three others — including the commanding officer of the Dabu-Dabu Platoon, surrendered to the 37th IB along with his comrades who were members of Timlas Platoon and SRC Daguma and were listed on the government's watchlist.
The four have voluntarily turned over their assault rifles to the security forces in Central Mindanao.
