A resident from Cavite became an instant millionaire through a lucky pick after hitting the P147.3 million Super Lotto jackpot prize of the state lottery games last month.

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office said on Friday that the bettor was the solo winner of the 15 October Super Lotto 6/49 draw with the winning combination 47-35-02-13-38-17.

"I didn't know that I was the winner so I check it when looking at the draw results on Facebook," said the new millionaire who bags the jackpot prize in Super Lotto 6/49 amounting to P147,354,716.40.

He revealed that his winning combination was a Lucky Pick or system-generated selection from his previous bets and also shared that before getting the jackpot prize, he had already won 3 digits in Super Lotto 6/49.

The lucky bettor ensures the jackpot prize for his family and their dream house.

"My first priority is my family and to be able to build our house in our province," said the lucky bettor.

The PCSO said the winner claimed his prize at the agency's main office in Mandaluyong City on 17 October and handed the check to the new millionaire.

To avoid forfeiture of winnings, winners have one year from the date of the draw to claim the prize as specified in Republic Act 1169, otherwise known as the PCSO Charter.

The PCSO reminded the public that all Lotto jackpot prizes must be claimed at its main office in Shaw Boulevard in Mandaluyong City.
