Benguet’s ‘Adivay’ Festival under way

BAGUIO CITY — The provincial government of Benguet has launched the month-long celebration of its 123rd founding anniversary and its annual "Adivay" Festival 2023 on Monday morning at the Provincial Capitol Grounds in La Trinidad, Benguet.

Benguet officials — headed by Benguet Governor Melchor Diclas — led the ecumenical mass to ensure blessings for the celebration and after the mass and the flag rites, the governor formally announced the opening of "Adivay" 2023.

"Adivay" is a local term for being together as one community and one people.
