The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines on Tuesday reported that the Oplan Biyaheng Ayos: Undas 2023 that was launched in 42 airports under their management said that operations remain normal and no adverse incidents were logged.
CAAP spokesperson Eric Apolonio said that the fast and effective processing of passengers — particularly at the check-in counters — was the result of collaboration with local agencies, including the Philippine National Police Aviation Security Group, Office for Transportation Security, Department of Tourism, Civil Aeronautics Board and local and foreign airlines.
He added that Malasakit Help Kits were given to passengers arriving and departing at airports in Zamboanga, Pagadian and other parts of the country by CAAP personnel.
The Malasakit Help Kits include a juice drink, tissues, hand sanitizer, towel, candies, cupcakes, biscuits, bottled water, a folding fan and two masks.
CAAP personnel also gave kits to young people, the elderly, and people with disabilities.
The provision of the Malasakit Help Kits was in line with the establishment of the Malasakit Help Desks in each airport.
