The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority will deploy 200 traffic personnel to manage traffic for the grand heroes' welcome of Asian Games medalists today at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex in Manila.
The agency was tapped by the Presidential Communications Office to be part of the celebration, managing
traffic and assisting in emergency response at strategic locations along the venue and route of the parade.
With the presence of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., Filipino athletes who recently competed in the 19th
Asian Games in Hangzhou, China will be honored by the Philippine Sports Commission after securing four gold,
two silver, and 12 bronze medals. The MMDA said there will be no road closures for the said event.
