A female drug suspect was nabbed in a buy-bust operation in Pasig City early Tuesday morning.
The 43-year-old suspect, identified only as alias Nancy, was arrested at 1:40 a.m. at Dr. Sixto Antonio Avenue, Barangay Maybunga, after she sold a sachet of shabu to a poseur buyer.
The buy-bust operation was conducted by the joint operatives of Pasig City Police Station's Drug Enforcement Unit and Special Reaction Unit.
Recovered from the suspect were eight pieces of transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing more or less 12 grams with an estimated street value of P81,600, a black coin purse, a mobile phone, P200 buy-bust money, and two pieces of fake one-thousand pesos.
The suspect is now detained at the Pasig City Police Station custodial facility and is facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Act of 2002.
