AirAsia commits value-for-money travel despite fuel hike costs
‘Passengers could seek additional relief from anticipated increases in ticket costs brought on by the volatility of international fuel prices by making advance reservations, particularly for future travel.’

When traveling over the holidays, AirAsia Philippines is committed to giving its guests the most value for their money. This, in spite of the Civil Aeronautics Board's most recent advice, which raises the fuel surcharge from Level 6 to Level 7 for the month of November.
According to AirAsia PH, a Level 7 fuel surcharge will result in a minimal fuel price rise of P219 to P689 for domestic flights and P772.71 to P1,124.26 for foreign flights, including to destinations like Indonesia, Japan and South Korea.
AirAsia PH country head for Communications and Public Affairs first officer Steve Dailisan said the airline will follow the Civil Aeronautics Board's advisory on fuel surcharges.
As a pioneer in low-cost air travel with a well-established domestic and international network, AirAsia remains committed to delivering the best value in air travel to their guests.
Double-digit sale
He added that AirAsia will also continue to cushion the effect of rising fuel costs on its ticket prices with various offerings, such as the monthly double-digit sale and the AirAsia Piso Sale, which is extended until 25 October for domestic and international travel from 4 March 2024 to 19 March 2025.
Dailisan further advised that all AirAsia passengers could seek additional relief from the anticipated increases in ticket costs brought on by the volatility of international fuel prices by making advance reservations, particularly for future travel since travel and vacation time are at their peak for many Filipinos in the final three months of the year.
Utilizing the airasia Superapp, which provides the convenience of booking hotels and flights at a lower cost, is another way to save money on travel.
