Airline companies prepare for large volumes of passengers ahead of Undas

For Undas, airline companies like Cebu Pacific will implement changes to improve the flow of passengers in what is surely going to be a high-volume event.
International travelers can begin using the check-in kiosks at Aisle E if they are traveling to a non-visa destination. They merely need to key in their booking reference number or scan the barcode on their itinerary receipt. Additionally, the kiosk allows for the scanning of passports for authentication.
Previously, international travelers had to check in at the desk to confirm the validity of their travel documents before printing their boarding passes. Once their boarding tickets have been printed, passengers without checked bags can proceed directly to the boarding gate. The bag drop-off counters may also examine additional travel documents that require additional verification.
Additionally, travelers who are entitled to meals due to flight delays or flight disruptions can now do so by simply presenting their boarding pass at the following Cebu Pacific accredited shops at NAIA T3: 7-Eleven, Bus Gate Goodies, Chatime, EBG, Global Topps, Kaishu.
Manila International Airport Authority Officer-in-Charge Brian Andersen Co said that MIAA and Cebu Pacific are working closely with each other to ensure a seamless experience for the riding public. These initiatives are in line with their overall goal to make traveling easier and more enjoyable for passengers passing through NAIA.
To prevent long lines at the airport, Cebu Pacific urges its passengers to check in online using the official mobile app or the Manage Booking part of the website. Both alternatives are accessible seven days before the scheduled departure time for domestic flights and up to one hour and four hours before the scheduled departure time for international flights, respectively.
Passengers are also encouraged to allot time for traffic going to the airport. Passengers must be at NAIA Terminals 3 and 4 at least 3 hours before departure for domestic flights and 4 hours for international flights. Passengers traveling to Dubai are allowed to check in as early as 7 hours before departure.
To ensure there is enough time for the required pre-flight procedures, all check-in counters close one hour prior to the scheduled time of departure. They advise passengers to go through final security and immigration right away after checking in to prevent delays. Boarding begins 45 minutes before the departure time.
