The Katipunan Avenue southbound zipper lane will take its dry run on Monday, 2 October.
Motorists may use the zipper lane during morning rush hours starting at 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. on weekdays, excluding holidays, the Quezon City Government announced.
The zipper lane's dry run will be implemented by the Quezon City local government unit and the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), which aims to lessen the volume of vehicles using the southbound lane of Katipunan Avenue in front of Miriam College, the QC Gov't added.
Motorists may enter the zipper lane at the U-turn slot in front of UP Town Center-Mercury Drug.
The zipper lane has two exits: one is in front of La Vista Subdivision gate on Mangyan Street going to Miriam College Gates 5 and 6, while the other one is in front of Miriam College Gate 3 on Katipunan Avenue.
Quezon City and MMDA traffic enforcers will be deployed in the area to guide the motorists.
