Truck thief arrested in Tondo

Operatives of the Manila Police District-Police Station 1 arrested a truck thief known who belongs to a group known in Tondo as "jumper boys." He was spotted early dawn Thursday lugging a firearm at the Southbound lane of Mel Lopez Boulevard Tondo Manila.

The suspect was identified by police  as Marvin Mangalindan, 23, a member of the dreaded Sputnik Gang, and resident of Building 7 Unit 403, Permanent Housing Barangay 128, Tondo, Manila.

Based on report coming from MPD PS 1 the incident occurred at 1 a.m. at the earlier mentioned place.

Police received a complaint from a concerned citizen concerning a man who went wild and challenging anyone to a fight.

The suspect was seen by a responding cop carrying a pistol gun.

They then  accosted him and ordered to lay his weapon down, He offered no resistance and obliged.

Seized from the suspect was a caliber .38 gun with two live bullets.

Upon further verification by police it was learned that the suspect has been featured in viral video where he was seen jumping aboard a delivery truck in Port Area, Manila where he was charged for theft.
