Property giant Megaworld Corp. is building an "all-in-one" community for property seekers through its sixth residential condominium tower within its 15.4-hectare Uptown Bonifacio township in Taguig City.
In a stock report on Tuesday, the company disclosed that the new development will consist of units in various layouts that come furnished with appliances and smart home technology.
"For Uptown Modern, our vision is to cater to the evolving needs of today's condo dwellers by developing an all-in-one residential address that integrates luxury and sustainability," Megaworld executive vice president for sales and marketing Noli Hernandez said.
Being the biggest single-tower Megaworld residential development in Uptown Bonifacio in terms of the number of units, the company expects to generate around P29 billion in sales from this tower, which is scheduled for completion by 2032.
The 54-story Uptown Modern will offer more than 1,000 units in varying unit sizes ranging from studio with and without balcony, up to 49 square meters; one bedroom with balcony, up to 83 square meters; two bedroom with balcony or lanai, up to 100 square meters; two bedroom loft with or without lanai, up to 183 square meters; and three bedroom with balcony, up to 139 square meters.
Smart homes
All units at Uptown Modern will be equipped with wireless smart home systems that future residents can access remotely using a dedicated smartphone app.
Exclusive amenities will be located on the sixth floor of the tower, which include an infinity pool with a jacuzzi and its pool deck, a kiddie pool with aquatic playground, daybed cabanas, Zen reading nook, gazebos, trellised lounge areas, outdoor function area, sunken lawn, activity lawn, children's playground, and an outdoor fitness gym featuring a variety of energy-generating equipment.
Other amenities also include a function hall with its lanai, an indoor fitness center, a game room, a music room, and a daycare center.
There will also be an expansive entertainment suite with a garden lanai, dry pantry, and a mini-bar where residents can also host parties and special events.
Additionally, the Uptown Modern will feature e-vehicle charging facilities in all of its seven parking floors located at the basement and podium levels. This will be the company's first residential condominium tower in Metro Manila to have this facility.
With sustainability being an integral component of its developments, Megaworld is integrating several green and sustainability features into Uptown Modern.
Aside from the e-vehicle charging facilities and energy-generating fitness equipment, the building will feature low flow rate faucets to promote water conservation, occupancy power sensors in hallways, LED lights in all units and common areas to help conserve energy, high energy efficiency rating for major equipment, a rainwater harvesting and reuse system, and its material recovery facility.
Uptown Modern will also have full backup power for all units and common areas — a first-of-its-kind feature for residential development in Uptown Bonifacio to prevent any disruption during power outages or interruptions in all units.
With Uptown Modern, Megaworld now has launched an inventory of around 4,500 residential units in Uptown Bonifacio alone. Other residential developments in the township include One Uptown Residences, Uptown Ritz, Uptown Parksuites, and Uptown Arts Residence.
