The Social Security System's Run After Contribution Evaders campaign on Thursday cited seven firms as delinquent employers.
The SSS Las Piñas, NCR South Division reported that they have issued notices of violations to delinquent employers situated in Almazan and Talon Tres areas of Las Piñas.
The erring employers incurred a total of P3.81 million deliquencies, consisting of P2.47 million unpaid contributions and P1.34 million in penalties, as 69 employees were affected.
The employers, according to SSS are two construction firms, wastewater and solid waste management; a convenience store, a medical laboratory, toys and souvenir manufacturer and air-conditioning contractor.
These seven firms were cited for non-remittance of monthly contributions where the construction firm topped the highest delinquency of P1.36 million, broken down into more than P555,000 unpaid workers' contributions and over P804,000 in penalties.
Based on SSS records, the establishment failed to remit the Social Security contributions of six of its employees from September of 1998 to December of 2022.
