Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. and SM Supermalls have strengthened their collaboration in promoting electric vehicle infrastructure, unveiling their sixth EV Charging Station at SM Lanang Premier.
The debut coincided with the first day of the Hyundai Mobility Experience tour, which has also taken residence at the said mall for its duration.
The new charging station is strategically positioned in the basement parking area, close to the main entrance. Its centerpiece is a Type 2 AC Charger, which is available for all EV and hybrid car enthusiasts to use, free of charge.
This is not the first time Hyundai and SM Supermalls have united their forces for a green automotive future. The partnership, initiated in July, has already seen the establishment of EV charging points at several other locations, namely SM Mall of Asia, The Podium, SM Fairview, SM City Clark and SM City Cebu.
While the infrastructure growth is impressive, Hyundai's push into the electric and hybrid market extends beyond just charging stations.
At the Main Atrium of SM Lanang Premier, mall visitors can witness the newest line-up of Hyundai vehicles until 10 September. One of the highlights is the popular IONIQ model which demonstrates its Vehicle-to-Load functionality in a unique way.
