San Jose, Tarlac — A people's organization recently underwent a Financial and Business Literacy Training at Sitio San Pedro Covered Court, Barangay Iba of this town.
According to 3rd Mechanized Infantry Battalion Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel Jeszer M. Bautista, the Solid Indigenous New Adventures Guide underwent the said training led by the Public Employment at Service Office Tarlac and his unit to provide livelihood knowledge to the said people's organization.
He added that the training is one of the steps made by the PESO Tarlac before providing livelihood equipment to the members of the said organization worth P500,000.
The training is aimed to train them on how to run their businesses such as tour guiding and souvenir making.
Members of the SINAG expressed their gratitude to the two government agencies for imparting knowledge in livelihood, and with the equipment provided by various agencies that will kick start their businesses.
PESO Tarlac focal Person Luzviminda Lalu expressed gratitude to the 3rd Mechanized Infantry Battalion for connecting them to the members of SINAG as she lauded the cooperation and helpfulness of each member of SINAG for being active in the activity.
Lt. Col. Bautista also lauded the PESO Tarlac and other government agencies for working hand-in-hand to provide the support needed for the livelihood of the organization, adding that the activity is a testament to the government's thrust in providing services and support needed by people's organizations such as SINAG.
