President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. appointed Grace Tan as the new chairperson of the National Labor Relations Commission, the Presidential Communications Office announced on Saturday.
Tan has served as presiding commissioner of the NLRC, which is an attached agency of the Department of Labor and Employment.
NLRC is mandated to adjudicate labor and management of disputes involving both local and overseas workers through compulsory arbitration and alternative modes of dispute resolution.
