BAGUIO CITY — Amid the strong monsoon rains, the local government of Baguio City on Friday kicked off the celebration of its 114th anniversary of the chartering of the city.
The program was held at the Baguio Cultural and Convention Center with the theme "Reflections of the past, Visions for our resilient future."
Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong during the program said that the people who are present in the BCCC are not just there because they are residents of Baguio but as champions towards a resilient future.
He stressed that the Baguio people can meet the challenges with determination and seize the opportunities with boldness.
The city government presented the three awardees for the Annual Search for the Outstanding Citizens of Baguio.
