Made for ‘women we trust’
A multifaceted and changing female identity lies at the heart of Marella’s philosophy
Nothing could depict the contemporary woman more than the blazer-and-jeans ensemble. There are, of course, various outfits to show one's individuality and identity, but as a go-to? Well-fitting jeans and a sleek blazer should do the trick.
A brand that bears a woman's name and has an appealing value proposition.
Marella is all about quality clothing at accessible prices. Collections are carefully crafted with a focus on the best materials and an eye for design in order to develop a creative and versatile selection that will allow women to express their personalities and feel like themselves in any situation.
The woman who would want to wear Marella are those who are "self-aware and determined, yet capable of light-heartedness and sensuality; women with eclectic personalities who are impossible to define."
It promotes body positivity and produces pieces that embody accessible luxury with a glamorous feel. Instead of a codified style, Marella offers a feeling, the deep desire to express one's femininity without making sacrifices, driven by instinct and intelligence. This is perfectly embodied in the women who have lent their faces to the brand from its origins to today, including Monica Bellucci, Amber Valletta, Milla Jovovich, Karlie Kloss and Miranda Kerr, among others.
A multifaceted and changing female identity lies at the heart of the brand's philosophy, crystallised for the first time in a message launched as part of the spring-summer 2022 campaign starring internationally renowned Italian model Mariacarla Boscono.
"In Women We Trust" is the concept that inspired the text Lei (She), written by Giulia Caminito (Campiello Prize 2021) exclusively for Marella.
Read with the same rhythm as a ballad or a love poem, the text is a manifesto in the form of a dialogue and perfectly captures the Marella women at her most sincere: free, self-aware and ready to open up, as long as she can speak for herself.
This direction continued into autumn-winter 2022 with a second chapter by contemporary artist Anna Franceschini, one of the most exciting voices on the Italian art scene, performed once more by Mariacarla Boscono, simultaneously a special guest and an essential element within this space. A source of energy that powers the entire project, just as the energy of today's women is an eternal yet contemporary source of inspiration for Marella.
