Kianna Dy carrying Cargo Movers

F2 Logistics is enjoying the resurgence of winger Kim Kianna Dy as it continues to share the top spot in the Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference.

The opposite spiker displayed her old dangerous form when she dropped 22 points to tow the Cargo Movers past Cignal in straight sets, 25-23, 25-20, 25-23, late Saturday at the Philsports Arena in Pasig City.

Dy hammered 21-of-56 attacks to underscore her efficient hitting and added seven digs on the defensive end for F2 Logistics, which joined defending champion Creamline on top of the standings with a 4-1 win-loss record.

Her explosion came at the heels of an 11-marker outing in a five-set win over the Cool Smashers last 18 February.

Dy attributed her recent productive outings to her renewed confidence.

"I'm trying to get my confidence back, and I build it every training, every game," the De La Salle University standout said.

"It's very important, especially heading into the closing stretch, so hopefully, I can sustain it."

The former national team member has averaged 16.5 points per game, rebounding from a one-point outing in the Cargo Movers' 19-25, 14-25, 16-25, defeat at the hands of Chery Tiggo.

F2 Logistics head coach Regine Diego lauded Dy's determination to bounce back from a bad game.

"She stepped up in this game. She really needs to get her confidence back," Diego said.

Dy's offensive onslaught covered up for a quiet night for open spiker Myla Pablo, who was limited to just three points after firing 27 against Creamline.

Diego also praised her players for stepping up when their numbers are called.

"So, it's good that they're slowly getting their confidence in themselves and the team," she said. "Hopefully, we can finish this with everyone contributing to the team."

Behind a confident Dy, the Cargo Movers are moving in the right direction in their drive to reach the Final Four.
