Nazareth School of National University overcame a rough patch in the third quarter to beat University of the Philippines Integrated School, 78-62, and stretch its winning streak to 33 games in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines Season 85 high school boys' tournament Wednesday at the Filoil EcoOil Centre.
Reinhard Jumamoy became the first UAAP high school player to post two triple-doubles in one season since University of Santo Tomas' Mark Nonoy did the trick in 2019.
The 19-year-old Cebuano guard came through with 25 points, 16 rebounds, and 11 assists as the three-peat-seeking Bulldogs extended their unbeaten run to six games.
"The coaches trust me. They guide me in every training and every game," Jumamoy said.
"My readiness is on and off the court. I have to sustain the mindset that my coaches are giving and refuse to get contented."
