Actor Gerald Anderson will be seeing action to spice up the opening salvo of Ballout Hoops today at the Marikina Sports Center.
Anderson, a competitive basketball player who played for various amateur and professional squads, will lead KalosPh when it battles M7-RPBY in the main game at 6 p.m.
Also seeing action are favored sides Xentro Mall Rizal and Marikina, who will take on separate foes in the scheduled triple-header of the opening salvo of the league's second season.
Xentro Mall will face ONE4BF in the first game at 3 p.m. while host Marikina will collide with Antipolo in the 4:30 p.m. second game.
Antipolo was represented by a school-based squad in Our Lady of Fatima University that was handled by former national team standout Ralph Rivera last season.
But OLFU begged off, leaving AMA University and University of Makati as the remaining school-based squads this season.
In fact, both AMA and UMak made deep playoff runs in the league's inaugural staging with the former making it all the way to the championship round.
