CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — Police Regional Office 3 director Police Brigadier General Cesar Pasiwen has condemned the killing of Barangay Captain Jesus Liang of Barangay Sto. Rosario here.

Liang was shot by a still unidentified suspect along the stretch of the City Market Plaza in Barangay Sto. Rosario as he was walking, killing him on the spot.

Pasiwen said that he has ordered an in-depth probe on the death of Liang, citing that the police are looking into all angles to establish possible motives for the murder of the elected official.

"We are exerting all means to get into the bottom of this unfortunate incident," said Pasiwen.

The police are now currently gathering pieces of evidence that will eventually lead to the identification of the culprit, assuring the public and the family of the victim that the PRO3 is committed to ensure the immediate resolution of the case thru proper investigation.
