The local government of Cainta in Rizal province has commenced the repainting of a public school in the town while learners are on Christmas break.
Former mayor and now municipal administrator Keith Nieto said the repainting and repair of schools is part of the maintenance works done regularly by the local government to all public schools.
"I ordered the repainting of Kabisig Elementary School at Floodway while children are on Christmas break," Nieto said, adding that he also ordered to fix the school's broken windows.
The municipal government had also repaired the comfort rooms at the waiting area of the Cainta Elementary School.
"For parents who drop off and pick up their child from Cainta Elementary School, this is what I promised to you that I will repair the comfort rooms at the covered court so that you can use a proper toilet," Nieto said.
