Two male drug suspects were arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by the anti-illegal drug operatives of Pasig City Police Station along Villa Monique, Barangay Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City on Wednesday evening.
The suspects were 44-year-old construction worker identified only as alias Pidang, 44, listed on city drug watchlist; and 31-year-old vendor identified only alias Eric.
Seized from the suspects were nine pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing more or less 9 grams with a standard drug price of P61,200, a black pouch, and the P200 buy-bust money.
The two suspects, now detained at the Pasig City Police Station custodial facility, will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
