JOLO, Sulu — The provincial government here started to implement the needed social and economic development plans of the province coupled with the needed government infrastructure projects and programs, targeted to enhance the economic development of the province and the living condition of their constituents.

Trade and commerce and the tourism industry in this province have also started to beam a bright atmosphere as the provincial government and security sectors continue to adopt avenues to further improve the peace and security of the province.

"We have suffered a lot in the past, now, let's give peace and development a chance to reign the atmosphere of Sulu," said Sulu Governor Abdusakur Tan.

He added that Sulu province is eyeing to become the center of trade and commerce, socio-economic development, and tourism destination in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.

"While we consider our ambition too high, still we believed  we can achieve all of those, if only we bind ourselves together for the  betterment of the province," Tan said.
