ANGELES CITY, Pampanga — Authorities reported the arrest of an alleged notorious drug pusher who yielded at least P400,000 worth of illegal drugs during police operations here on Thursday evening.
Police Regional Office 3 chief Brigadier General Cesar Pasiwen identified the suspect as high value individual John Isiah Matias, who was arrested by the joint operatives of ACDEU, CIU, Police Station 5, SOU3 PDEG, and elements of Mandaluyong CDEU.
The drug-bust operation against the suspect was conducted at Kalayaan Road in Barangay Cutcut, Angeles City.
Pasiwen said that the suspect was in possession of three pieces heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing approximately 55 grams. The said drugs have a total estimated value of P374,000.
Aside from the said illegal drugs, authorities also confiscated a piece of self-sealing transparent plastic sachet containing 18 pieces of suspected ecstacy tablets with an estimated of P27,000 and the P1,000 marked money.
