Negros Oriental Third District Representative Arnie Teves is now an official member of DZRH after the radio station accepted the lawmaker's program Teves Cares Live, Aksyon, Tulong, Solution sa DZRHTV.
The contract signing between Teves and representatives of DZRH headed by Atty. Rudolf Jularbal and Jose Ma. Parroco, VP for sales and AM operations was done at the Sofitel Hotels and Resorts in Manila.
It was also attended by content maker and well-known DJ Raqiterra, Teves' co-host in his radio/TV program.
"I am very much grateful, especially to the management of DZRH for embracing me as part of your official family. My foremost objective is not political or to gain prestige, but to bring fun and help to our kababayans," Teves said.
He added that if only he could have his way, he wanted to make the life of every Filipino easier and better.
To be aired every Saturday, the program pilots on 7 January from 6-7 p.m.
Teves Cares Live, Aksyon, Tulong, Solution, is a public service television/radio program that aims to provide immediate action and solution on issues and concerns of Filipinos, local and abroad.
The lawmaker said that the help they would provide may be in the form of health, medical and hospitalization assistance, legal advice, family and relationship tips, burial, and financial assistance, and any related matters, especially involving marginalized sector of society.
Jularbal, on the other hand, said that the objective of Teves' program "is very close to the heart of DZRH of helping people not only financially but also emotionally."
Parroco called Teves' program as Makabagong Bayanihan "that blends well to our own objective of helping the people. We cannot do it alone, we need new partnership."
They called Teves as Kuya Arnie, the new "kuya" of DZRH.
