‘Malaysia Week 2022’: Food, dance, culture, and humanity’s spirit of oneness
‘Last year, 400,000 Filipinos visited Malaysia. We want to see the number grow so that you can see and connect with the people of Malaysia. Likewise, Malaysians are coming to the Philippines in groups. Many Malaysians right now are discovering that the Philippines is beautiful, its people, the beaches, the cities,’ said Mohd Fareed Zakaria, Malaysian Embassy charge d’ affaires.

The Embassy of Malaysia on 10 December hosted 'Malaysia Week 2022' — an in-person promotional event whose theme was diversity and humanity's spirit of oneness.
Mohd Fareed Zakaria, Malaysian Embassy charge d' affaires, told Daily Tribune: "The main thing we want to promote today is people. People represent many things — culture, food, dance, music, so Filipinos will get to know us better. We have much in common…"

He pointed out: "Last year, 400,000 Filipinos visited Malaysia. We want to see the number grow so that you can see and connect with the people of Malaysia. Likewise, Malaysians are coming to the Philippines in groups. Many Malaysians right now are discovering that the Philippines is beautiful, its people, the beaches, the cities… I have friends in the Philippines who have yet to discover the inner beauty of the country."
