Nine persons were caught using HPG stickers and various other people were ticketed for using blinkers, sirens and modified mufflers

A total of 503 vehicles had been impounded by the Highway Patrol Group of the Philippine National Police from 2 to 8 December. The number includes six recovered vehicles, two four-wheeled and four motorcycles.
Recovered vehicles include those that had been carnapped or carjacked from their owners. Seventeen persons had been arrested for carnapping.
Of the 503, 422 were motorcycles and the rest were four-wheeled vehicles.
In its accomplishment report for the week, the PNP-HPG said its members had also ticketed 18,404 individuals for various traffic violations.
