QC boosts drive vs HIV, AIDS

Various institutions, non-governmental organizations, and government agencies came together to intensify the campaign against the spread of Human Immunodeficiency Virus and Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome in Quezon City.
The Bahagi ka ng Solusyon! #ZeroAt2030 campaign promotes the importance of unity and cooperation of the public and private sector and community to provide a solution to the HIV and AIDS problem that has been a decades-old issue all over the world.
As a pledge and unity to the cause, representatives of institutions and governments, schools, youth, facilities and PLHIVs formed a giant red ribbon.
The city government emphasized that the local government listens to every suggestion of QCitizens to further improve the city's programs in responding to the HIV and AIDS epidemic.
Apart from city officials, QC Health Department OIC Dr. Esperanza Arias, Action for Health Initiatives Executive Director Mara Quesada, and representatives of other partner NGOs attended the event.
