Chiong orders service checks at NAIA
The MIAA chief advised travelers using the NAIA’s various terminals to allow enough time for check-in and other procedures.

Manila International Airport Authority General Manager Cesar Chiong has urged concessionaires at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport to establish a system by which payments for goods may be made through credit and other cards.
Chiong said that the payment through cards may be already operational in two weeks at NAIA Terminal 2.
He also ordered a check on all automated teller machines at the NAIA to ensure they are in working condition at all times.
The MIAA chief also advised travelers using the NAIA's various terminals to allot enough time —- at least two hours before their respective flights —- for check-in and other procedures.
He explained that the holiday rush, during which people try to go home to their provinces or travel to and from abroad, requires extra time to complete travel procedures at airports.
Chiong urged travelers to also try online check-in to help ease the queues at the NAIA.
The MIAA chief recently met with the Philippine National Police Aviation Security Group and the Airport Police to remind them that security at the NAIA is their shared responsibility.
